Wolves are a constant threat to those who must venture outside the walls of Slaðkirk. To prevent any attacks before they can start, the mayor has issued a standing bounty for wolves: 5sp per wolf killed. The bodies must be presented for the reward to be collected. Upon presenting the bodies, the mayor or an appointed proxy will notch the ears of the wolves to indicate their bounties have been collected. You will then be free to keep the bodies for your own uses.

In addition to the usual Wolves which routinely stalk the wastes outside town, the mayor has also issued a 5gp bounty for the head of a Winter Wolf. This monstrous creature has not been seen around Slaðkirk in many years, but recent reports indicate one may be in area once again. All bounty hunters should remember that a Winter Wolf is not as easily neutralized as their more regular counterparts and are much more likely to attack humans. Anyone seeking to collect this bounty should be prepared for a vicious fight.

A bounty has been issued for the bear known as Bloodback, known to lair somewhere northwest of Slaðkirk. The creature is known to be responsible for 3 deaths, and is suspected to be responsible for up to 5 more. For the body of Bloodback, the mayor has approved a 25gp bounty. Additionally, the families of the 5 suspected victims have contributed an additional 5gp each for conclusive evidence of the fate of the suspected victims, or the safe return of same. The suspected victims are as follows:
Jeffrey - 12 y.o. - male - blonde hair - last seen wearing blue jeans and a red-and-black jacket
Britta - 14 y.o. - female - blue hair - last seen wearing a blue stocking cap and red canvas high-top shoes
Randall - 14 y.o. - male - black hair - last seen wearing black-framed glasses, black coat, and a red backpack
Kris - 22 y.o. - female elf - shaved head - last seen wearing dark blue overalls and fingerless black leather gloves
Samantha - 23 y.o. - female - pink hair - last seen wearing wide-legged black jeans and a black leather jacket
